Formulation

• Syrup

Each 5 ml of Syrup Contains

• Aloe Vera Gel: 4.5 mg
• Standardized to contain 0.24% Polysaccharide

Indications

• Improves digestive issues

• Strengthens the immune system and increases resistance to viral infections, especially influenza and the common cold

Dosage and Administration

Take 4 tablespoons (60 mL) daily.

Mechanism of Action

• The usable part of Aloe Vera is its leaf gel, a transparent substance obtained from the central part of the Aloe Vera leaf.
• Aloe Vera gel contains active medicinal compounds, including Acemannan, tannins, enzymes, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.
• Acemannan, a primary component of Aloe Vera gel, is considered an immune system stimulant.
• Aloe Vera gel has antioxidant effects, immune system modulating properties, wound healing capabilities, and anti-inflammatory effects.
• Orally, Aloe Vera gel is used for treating peptic ulcers and inflammatory bowel diseases. It also serves as a general tonic and as a laxative for constipation. Aloe Vera is also effective as an antibacterial agent. Anticancer effects of Aloe Vera gel have been reported.

Side Effects

No specific adverse effects have been observed with the use of this product. However, prolonged use may result in gastrointestinal side effects such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, blood in urine or stool, etc. If any of these occur, it is recommended to discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Precautions

• Avoid use in cases of intestinal obstruction, acute intestinal inflammation (such as Crohn’s disease), appendicitis, or any unexplained abdominal pain.
• Not recommended for individuals with diabetes whose blood sugar is controlled by antidiabetic medications.
• Avoid use during pregnancy, lactation, and in children under 12 years of age.
• After opening the bottle, store the syrup in the refrigerator.
• Use during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated.

Drug Interactions

• This product may interact with antidiabetic medications, and its use is not recommended for individuals with diabetes who are taking blood sugar-lowering medications.
• Excessive use of Aloe Vera may increase the risk of digoxin toxicity due to potassium depletion.

Storage Conditions

• Store below 30°C, away from light and moisture, and out of reach of children.
• After opening, store in the refrigerator.
