Acacia Gum: Contains prebiotic fibers that help balance normal intestinal flora, promoting better absorption of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.
Fig: Traditionally used as a mild laxative and to alleviate intestinal inflammation.
Tamarind: Effective for both acute and chronic constipation relief and also aids in easing abdominal discomfort.
Chinese Rhubarb (Rheum): Acts as a gentle laxative. Its anthraquinone glycosides increase intestinal volume, triggering peristalsis. Rhubarb may cause electrolyte loss, notably potassium.
Artichoke: Contains sesquiterpenes, hydroxycinnamic acids, and flavonoids that support digestive health.
Magnesium Gluconate: Functions as an osmotic laxative.
Potassium Iodide: Included to counteract potential potassium deficiency due to rhubarb content.
