Indications

A minimum 2-hour interval is recommended between these drugs and the supplement.

Vitamin C and Chemotherapy: Vitamin C, as an antioxidant, may reduce the effectiveness of chemotherapy agents that rely on free radical formation (e.g., cyclophosphamide, chlorambucil, and carmustine).

Aluminum-containing Drugs: Concomitant use with aluminum-containing drugs may increase blood aluminum levels, especially in patients with chronic kidney disease.

Oral Contraceptives: Concurrent Vitamin C use may increase blood estrogen levels in individuals on contraceptives.

Iron: An essential mineral primarily stored in hemoglobin of red blood cells and myoglobin in muscles, iron is critical for oxygen and carbon dioxide transport. It also plays a role in synthesizing neurotransmitters such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. Liposomal iron, used in this product, enhances bioavailability by shielding iron from gastric acid degradation, leading to higher intestinal absorption with reduced gastrointestinal side effects.

Vitamin C: A water-soluble vitamin essential for cellular respiration, oxidation-reduction reactions, carbohydrate metabolism, lipid and protein synthesis, cholesterol catabolism, and iron metabolism. Vitamin C enhances iron absorption by reducing ferric to ferrous iron and countering the effects of absorption inhibitors like phytates, polyphenols, and tannins.
