Dosage and Administration

Drug Interactions
It is recommended to monitor blood glucose levels when using this product concurrently with antidiabetic medications, including insulin and metformin.
Zinc, due to its chelating properties, may reduce the absorption of certain antibiotics (fluoroquinolones such as ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, and tetracyclines such as doxycycline, minocycline, and cephalexin). Take this product at least 4 hours before or 2 hours after antibiotics.
The simultaneous use of niacin with anticoagulants (such as aspirin and warfarin) may increase the risk of bleeding in some patients.
Folate may interfere with the effectiveness of methotrexate. Therefore, concurrent use should be avoided.
