Active Ingredients

Black Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) flower and fruit concentrate – 250 mg

Amla (Emblica officinalis) seed powder – 50 mg

Grape (Vitis vinifera) seed and skin extract powder – 10 mg

Bromelain (Ananas comosus) powder – 50 mg

Ascorbic Acid – 50 mg

Zinc (as zinc gluconate) – 1 mg

Excipients

Potassium sorbate, sucralose, orange flavor, purified water.

Standardized based on 25 mg anthocyanins per 5 mL of syrup.

Indications

Supports immune system health and alleviates symptoms of seasonal allergies.

Dosage and Administration

Adults: 1 teaspoon (5 mL), twice daily.

In children, use only under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

Shake the bottle well before use.

Precautions and Contraindications

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if you are taking any medications, supplements, or herbal remedies, have any chronic conditions, or are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless directed by a healthcare provider.

Discontinue use at least two weeks before surgery.

Side Effects

Drug Interactions

Amla may increase the risk of hypoglycemia when used with antidiabetic drugs.

Bromelain may have anti-platelet effects and could increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulants or antiplatelet medications.

Vitamin C may increase the absorption of aluminum and levothyroxine.

Pharmacological Effects and Mechanism of Action

This product contains black elderberry extract, rich in flavonoids, which support the immune system. Flavonoids are potent natural antioxidants that are believed to protect the body’s cells from damage caused by free radicals. Certain flavonoids (anthocyanins) found in the purple pigment of black elderberries are particularly effective in stimulating the immune system.

Amla extract inhibits the migration of leukotriene B4, the release of leukotriene B4, and the granulation of human polymorphonuclear lymphocytes in laboratory conditions, thus exhibiting immune-modulating effects.

The parts of the grape plant used include the fruit, skin, seeds, and leaves. Laboratory studies suggest that grape seed extract may induce the production of interferon-gamma derived from Th1 cells, potentially contributing to antiviral and anticancer effects.

Bromelain, a proteolytic enzyme derived from pineapple, may exert anti-inflammatory effects by altering leukocyte activity and inhibiting prostaglandin and bradykinin synthesis.

Vitamin C is recognized for its role in managing allergies, such as allergic rhinitis. Low vitamin C levels may worsen symptoms of allergic rhinitis, and there is evidence suggesting that vitamin C has weak antihistamine-like properties.

Zinc is an essential trace element crucial for neutrophil and T lymphocyte function. Even mild zinc deficiency can negatively affect T cell performance. Clinical research has shown that zinc supplementation can reduce suppressor T cell levels and increase the helper-to-suppressor T cell ratio.

Use During Pregnancy and Lactation

Avoid using this product during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Store the product in its box, away from light, moisture, and at temperatures below 30°C. Once opened, store the product in the refrigerator.
