As with any supplement, this product may cause unwanted effects. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, indigestion, gastrointestinal discomfort, constipation, abdominal pain, bloating, headache, drowsiness, allergic reactions, exacerbation of asthma symptoms, hypotension, and skin rashes. Drug Interactions

Concurrent use of Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers (ARBs) such as losartan, valsartan, and diuretics like spironolactone and triamterene with L-Arginine may increase the risk of hyperkalemia and should be used with caution.

L-Arginine combined with anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs such as aspirin, heparin, and warfarin increases the risk of bleeding.

Antihypertensive drugs, particularly Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme Inhibitors (ACEIs) like captopril and enalapril, interact with L-Arginine and Vitamin B6, potentially causing an enhanced reduction in blood pressure.

Vitamin B6 in this formulation interacts with amiodarone, increasing photosensitivity caused by amiodarone.

Antioxidants like Vitamin E may reduce the effectiveness of certain chemotherapy drugs that produce free radicals. Vitamin E should be used cautiously during chemotherapy, and supplementation should only be done under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

Concurrent use of this product with selumetinib may cause interactions due to the presence of Vitamin E; consult your healthcare provider before use.

Bisphosphonates (e.g., alendronate), aminoglycoside antibiotics (e.g., gentamicin, streptomycin), levodopa, digoxin, potassium-sparing diuretics (e.g., triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride), cephalexin, penicillamine, tetracycline antibiotics, quinolones (e.g., doxycycline, ciprofloxacin), atorvastatin, calcitriol, diltiazem, and various other drugs may interact with this product due to its content of magnesium, zinc, calcium, and Vitamin D. Consult your healthcare provider before using this product in combination with these medications.

Use During Pregnancy

This product may be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding under medical supervision.

Pharmacological Effects and Mechanism of Action

L-Arginine is an essential amino acid involved in protein synthesis and is well known for its vascular effects. It is converted to nitric oxide in the blood vessels, leading to vasodilation and potential blood pressure reduction. L-Arginine may also increase the secretion of growth hormone, prolactin, glucagon, and insulin.

Zinc is a biologically essential trace element required for various biological processes, including DNA, RNA, and protein synthesis. It plays a role in immune function, wound healing, reproduction, growth, development, behavior, learning, taste, and smell. Zinc deficiency is associated with growth retardation, low insulin levels, and reduced growth factors.

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin with antioxidant properties that prevent free radical formation. It can reduce pain by lowering prostaglandins and has roles in reducing the risk of certain cancers, as well as improving cardiovascular and neurological health.

Calcium is a major component of bones and is also present in blood, extracellular fluid, and muscles. It is essential for nerve transmission, muscle contraction, glandular secretion, kidney function, heart rhythm, and the structural integrity of teeth and bones.

Magnesium plays a vital role in carbohydrate, protein, and fat metabolism, bone and tissue formation, ion transport across cell membranes, maintaining electrical potential, and proper muscle function. It is responsible for over 300 biochemical reactions in the body and affects blood pressure, metabolism, immune function, and various other aspects of health. Magnesium deficiency is linked to conditions such as osteoporosis, hypertension, atherosclerotic vascular disease, cardiomyopathy, diabetes, and stroke.

Vitamin B6 is involved in the metabolism of amino acids, carbohydrates, and lipids. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects support immune function and overall health.

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin primarily responsible for regulating calcium and phosphorus serum levels. Adequate Vitamin D is crucial for calcium and phosphorus absorption in the gut. It strengthens bones and prevents osteoporosis by enhancing muscle strength and neuromuscular function. Vitamin D plays a crucial role in immune function and may reduce the risk of autoimmune diseases, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, and cancers of the colon, breast, and prostate.
