Each 5 mL of Simo Children Cold Syrup contains

Plantago lanceolata (English Plantain) extract: 56.6 mg

Althaea officinalis (Marshmallow Root) extract: 113.2 mg

Other ingredients: Potassium sorbate, sucralose, lemon essence

Standardized to contain 4.5 mg of ortho-dihydroxycinnamic acid based on acteyozide in 5 mL of syrup.

Indications

Relief of chest discomfort

Dosage and Administration

Children aged 6-12 years: 6-9 mL

Over 12 years: 9 mL

Administer three times a day, diluted or with a small amount of water or fruit juice, or as directed by the prescribing physician.

In children under 6 years, use only as recommended by the healthcare provider.

Side Effects

Oral marshmallow root may cause hypoglycemia.

English plantain may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.

Warnings and Precautions

Avoid use during pregnancy and lactation.

Marshmallow may interfere with blood sugar control.
