Dosage and Administration

Adults and children over 4 years of age: 2 teaspoons (10 mL) daily or as directed by a healthcare provider.

This product contains Black Elderberry extract, which is rich in flavonoids that help strengthen the immune system. Flavonoids are powerful natural antioxidants believed to protect the body’s cells from potential damage caused by free radicals. Certain flavonoids—specifically anthocyanins—found in the purple pigments of Black Elderberry fruit have significant immune-boosting properties.
Vitamin C plays an essential role in various physiological functions and is involved in multiple metabolic processes, including oxidation-reduction reactions and cellular respiration. Vitamin C is recognized as an antioxidant and is vital for maintaining proper immune system function. Due to its role in immune health, Vitamin C is widely used to prevent and treat colds, and research suggests it may reduce the duration of cold symptoms.
Zinc is essential for several biological functions, including protein synthesis, and plays a crucial role in immune system function. Many studies have shown that zinc supplementation significantly shortens the duration of cold symptoms.

Drug Interactions

The use of antioxidants like Vitamin C during chemotherapy may reduce the effectiveness of chemotherapy drugs that generate free radicals.

Concurrent use of Vitamin C with oral contraceptives may increase estrogen levels.

Vitamin C may enhance the anesthetic effects of pentobarbital.
