Indications

Helps relieve urinary burning and bladder inflammation.

Dosage

5 mL twice daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Pharmacological Actions and Mechanism of Action

  • Asparagus has potent antimicrobial properties and combats common urinary tract infection pathogens. It also acts as an antioxidant for the urinary system and increases urinary magnesium concentration, preventing urinary crystallization (formation of mineral deposits in urine).
  • Desert Herb has a protective effect against nephrotoxicity.
  • Buckthorn exhibits strong diuretic properties, increasing renal blood flow, which enhances water elimination through urine, helping manage bladder inflammation and urethritis (inflammation and burning sensation in the urinary tract).
  • Aviar Salami possesses anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, soothing irritated mucosa and alleviating pain associated with urinary burning.
  • Vetiver Root helps reduce inflammation and promote healing in the urinary system.

Side Effects

  • Black Pepper may cause dyspepsia and other gastrointestinal issues.
  • Buckthorn generally has no side effects, but in some cases, it may cause prolonged menstrual cycles, increased libido, and menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding). It may also lead to insomnia in some individuals.
  • Cardamom may cause contact dermatitis and allergic reactions in some people and could trigger biliary colic in patients with gallstones. Use with caution in such cases.
  • Ginger is generally safe at therapeutic doses but may cause abdominal pain, heartburn, diarrhea, and a pepper-like irritation in the mouth and throat at higher doses.

Drug Interactions

  • Antihypertensive medications (e.g., Captopril, Enalapril, Furosemide, Hydrochlorothiazide) may have their blood pressure-lowering effects potentiated by Buckthorn.
  • Antidiabetic drugs (e.g., Insulin, Metformin) may experience enhanced hypoglycemic effects when used with Buckthorn.
  • Asparagus may have a diuretic effect, potentially decreasing lithium levels in the body.
  • The product may increase the risk of hypoglycemia when taken with antidiabetic drugs such as Insulin and Glimepiride.
  • Aviar Salami inhibits platelet aggregation, which may increase bleeding risk, and can interact with anticoagulant drugs such as Aspirin, Clopidogrel, and Heparin.
  • Black Pepper may increase the absorption of Propranolol, raising its serum concentration.
  • Piperine (a compound in black pepper) can enhance the side effects of Amoxicillin and interact with anticoagulants, increasing bleeding risks.
  • Piperine may also reduce blood glucose levels and interact with antidiabetic drugs like Insulin, Pioglitazone, and Rosiglitazone.
  • Ginger may interact with cardiovascular, antidiabetic, and anticoagulant medications. Use with caution in diabetic and anticoagulated patients under medical supervision.

Contraindications and Cautions

  • Due to the presence of Cardamom, use with caution in patients with gallstones, and only under medical supervision.
  • Ginger, Black Pepper, and Aviar Salami may inhibit thromboxane synthesis and reduce platelet aggregation, increasing the risk of bleeding.
  • These ingredients may also lower blood glucose levels.
  • Ginger should be used with caution in patients with cardiovascular conditions, under medical supervision.
  • Discontinue the product at least two weeks before surgery due to its potential to increase bleeding risk.
  • Vetiver should be used with caution in patients with prostate cancer, as it may exacerbate prostate conditions.
  • Aviar Salami inhibits acetylcholinesterase and may increase acetylcholine levels, which could be problematic in patients with conditions like bradycardia, gastrointestinal obstruction, peptic ulcers, asthma, respiratory diseases, epilepsy, or urinary tract obstruction.
