Dosage and Administration

Infants: 5 drops daily or as directed by the healthcare provider.

Mechanism of Action

Probiotics are a group of beneficial microorganisms that improve health by supporting the natural flora of the body. Research has shown that Lactobacillus species can reduce the adhesion ability of pathogenic bacteria to the gastrointestinal mucosal lining, thereby preventing bacterial colonization and improving gastrointestinal health. Additionally, these probiotics enhance digestive function and overall gastrointestinal well-being.
Lactobacillus species stimulate macrophage and lymphocyte activity, increase interferon-alpha production, and modulate cytokine production. They also play a significant role in enhancing phagocytosis in polymorphonuclear cells and monocytes.

Side Effects

When used as directed by a healthcare provider, Bioped Vitamin D drops are considered safe. However, like all supplements, they may cause side effects in some individuals. While all side effects may not occur, if any of the following occur, consult your doctor or pharmacist:

Mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as heartburn, bloating, abdominal pain, and diarrhea are commonly reported with Lactobacillus rhamnosus.

Precautions

If you are taking any medication, supplements, or herbal products, or if you have any chronic conditions, consult your healthcare provider before using this product.

Discontinue use if you experience hypersensitivity to any ingredient in the product.

Immunocompromised individuals should consult their healthcare provider before using this product.

Discontinue use at least two weeks prior to any surgical or medical procedures, as recommended by your healthcare provider.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Shake the bottle well before use.

Avoid mixing with hot foods or beverages.

This product is a dietary supplement and is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of any disease.

The use of this product during pregnancy and lactation is acceptable, provided it is done under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

Drug Interactions

Concurrent use of aluminum-containing medications with the vitamin D in this product may lead to increased blood aluminum levels, especially in patients with chronic renal failure.

Immunosuppressants such as cyclosporine, tacrolimus, and azathioprine may interact with the Lactobacillus in this product, theoretically increasing the risk of infections.

Concurrent use with antibiotics may reduce the effectiveness of this product, so it is advised to maintain a minimum two-hour gap between antibiotic administration and use of this product.

Storage Conditions

Store the product in its box, away from light and moisture, at a temperature below 30°C.

Keep out of reach of children.

After each use, close the bottle tightly to prevent freezing.

After opening the bottle, store in the refrigerator for extended shelf life.
