Indications

Arnicover cream is indicated for:

• Supporting the body’s natural response to sudden impact, injury, fatigue, and soreness.
• Promoting muscle recovery following intense exercise or physical activity.

Composition (Per 1 mg of Cream)

• Arnica tincture: 3 g
• Witch hazel tincture (Hamamelis): 0.45 g

Mechanism of Action

Arnicover cream has potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties:

• Arnica:
  • Contains active sesquiterpene lactones, which exhibit strong anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects.
  • Sesquiterpene lactones may inhibit the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kB), which plays a role in activating B cells involved in DNA transcription regulation.

Adverse Effects

• Topical Use May cause localized allergic reactions, including skin irritation, redness, allergic eczema, itching, and flaking.

Warnings and Contraindications

• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
  • Not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
• Skin Conditions:
  • Avoid use on damaged skin (cuts or wounds).
• Allergy:
  • Do not use in individuals with hypersensitivity to the Asteraceae family, including species such as Echinacea, daisies, chrysanthemums, and chamomile.
